STOCK EXCHANGE TICK AND TRIN CALCULATOR
Please insert Share and Stock Volume numbers fom the Stock Market or Stock Exchange you TRADE with. This is how TRIN calculated: ((Advancing Issues/Declining Issues)/(Advancing Volume/Declining Volume))=Trin and TICK Calculated like this: Advancing Issues - Declining Issues = Tick. Please search engine to familiarise yourself with both of them. Don't depend on them unless you are expert enough to know what you are doing. The followings are some guidelines to Trin and Tick Figures. They are taken from American Stock Exchange Market Sources:BULLISH TRIN: 1-A Trin bellow 1.00 is BULLISH. 2- A Trin between 0.20 and 0.70 is very BULLISH. 3- A Trin below 0.20 is extremely BULLISH, expect reversal.
BEARISH TRIN: 1- A Trin above 1.00 is BEARISH. 2- A Trin between 1.40 and 3.00 is very BEARISH. 3- A Trin above 3.00 is extremely BEARISH, expect reversal.
DANGEROUS TRIN A Trin between 0.70 and 1.40, means the market is the choppiest. Avoid short and long positions.
TICK GUIDLINES: Positive Tick indicates BULLISH Market and Negative Tick indicates BEARISH Market. A Tick reading of +1,000 indicates extreme BULLISHNESS, expect reversal. -1,000 reading indicates extreme BEARISHNESS; expect reversal.
Each time Trin or Tick computed if any above cases computed, you will get a message. To clear it, click on the 'Clear Right Hand Frame' under the calculator.
